[ENG] Fantastic app!!! Remeber that various version of Android dont allow activation/deactivation of data by any app, and if you want that functionality, you will have to root your phone. If it could be combined with intermittent data option that would benefit …In terms of battery saving and data usage .
I want to say it works on my rooted Padfone S, and although the battery saved is not too significant, it does it job as per the apps description. So a big thank you to the developer for this thoughtful app as ever on the move, every little battery juice saved means an extra one or two phone calls for me.Amazing I’ve looking for (and I tryed) a lot of applications which “promised” to change / toggle automatic the connection between wifi and data, but only this app is doing what is saying : automatic close data transfer when the phone is connected to wifi and close the wifi / open the data connection when I’m leaving the wifi area. It’s working perfect and fast even on HTC with Kitkat android, even on ASUS with Lollipop. Congratulations !!!Great one It took me a lot of time to find an app that works. Fiy to anyone who might be reading thia – Root access is necessary to let an app toggle mobile data due to changes since lollipop onwards.
Confused I’m just now downloading it. Does this app really give you your own wifi data like for example if someone doesn’t have wifi at there home like have no wifi exactly would it gives you your own wifi. I do have wifi but my dad doesn’t and I want to get my own wifi data.
Works As Described You can test it by turning off WiFi on your phone, then see 3G activate. Automatic switching means, you do need to think about the changeover. Just walk out of your house with it’s home WiFi system, and your phone is automatically on 3G.
Excellent tool, responsive developer! I have tested some similar applications but none of them worked as I would like it till I found this one. Initially I had a small issue with it but the developer applied my suggestion almost within 24 hours and now it is working great. Definitely worth to give it a try.
