Thanks for the review. To others reading, keep in mind if a service is offering a life time offer; that isn’t sustainable and they will eventually change the deal making it unfavourable (like not letting you use new servers or some other shittery) or they’ll just go out of business.
After repeated attempts at support contact (I too have the lifetime) with no feedback, I have considered my account dead.
Their support link hasn’t worked for (at least) weeks now: “unable to successfully run a MySQL query. MySQL Returned this error: Access denied for user ”@’localhost’ (using password: NO) Error number: 1045 The query that caused this error was: SELECT * FROM hd_languages WHERE original = ‘_ERROR’ LIMIT 1″
There has been no activity on twitter or facebook. I can only imagine that the owners have jumped ship. Worked ok when it worked. download
To be fair, I signed up for Unlimited (lifetime) 13 months ago and it’s still going strong. The speeds are still fast and the servers are never overloaded. The android app is constantly updated adding new features. The latest update really looks good.
I don’t believe they’ll last forever though as they still to this day offer the lifetime promo.
Some companies like Secure and Tiger offered a lifetime promotion – but it was very short lived. Maybe it was just to get a quick influx of cash and take on a limited amount of lifetime members. They no longer offer lifetime though so any new members are signing up for monthly and annual plans.
ProXPN, VPN Land, and Unlimited have been up over a year.
ZoogTV says “lifetime” but is actually 20 years.
PureVPN is 10 years.
VPN.Asia is approximately 50 years.
Unlimited is truly lifetime. (Of the company.) Same with Land and Pro. Wouldn’t recommend Land though because they make you digitially sign a form saying you want torrent movies, etc. And proXPN is just plain slow.
VPN Unlimited was a good investment but not great for torrenting. (Only 3 or 4 servers support it.)
